By accessing or using RuralRunr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

RuralRunr is a community-based platform that connects neighbors for sharing errands and trips to stores. We facilitate connections but are not responsible for the actual delivery of goods.

3. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Community Guidelines

Users must:

  • Treat all community members with respect
  • Communicate honestly about trips and orders
  • Honor commitments made through the platform
  • Not engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Not harass, threaten, or harm other users

5. Runners

If you act as a Runner, you agree to:

  • Complete trips as described
  • Handle items with care
  • Communicate promptly about any issues
  • Maintain appropriate insurance for your vehicle
  • Comply with all applicable laws

6. Payments

RuralRunr does not currently process payments. All payments between users (runner fees, item costs) are handled directly between users via cash, Venmo, or other methods. We are not responsible for payment disputes.

7. Limitation of Liability

RuralRunr is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Actions or omissions of users
  • Quality, safety, or legality of items
  • Disputes between users
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RuralRunr harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
